Performing two extraordinary concerts at the amphitheatre in Pompeii, Gilmour reprised the legendary Pink Floyd 1971 film – and Sarah Lee was given exclusive access to photograph the unique event

Historian Mary Beard gives Gilmour and Samson a tour of the ancient site. She explained how Pompeii as a provincial town was the ‘Shepton Mallet of the Roman World’
