Roger Waters Shares New Studio Video From Upcoming Album – Watch It!

Roger Waters has perfected the fantastic art of the tease. Waters has been sharing some breadcrumbs every few weeks about his new album, Is This the Life We Really Want, revealing some instrumental passages, in addition to adding dates to his now-extensive Us + Them tour.

Today (Mar. 20), Roger Waters released roughly 45-seconds of melody from the new album. The instrumental passage–just Roger on guitar–has a little bit of “Wish You Were Here” feel to it. (Watch the clip beneath.)

On March 3, Waters had offered a little bit of the album’s recording process–well, 32 secs worth anyway–as well as its release date.

On February 16, Waters tweeted a brief video of some of the album’s instrumentation and a vague “Coming Soon”…

The tour is described as “performing songs from the albums of Pink Floyd: The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, Animals and Wish You Were Here. On February 21, Waters wrote: “We’re going to take a brand new show on the road, the content is very secret. It will be a mix of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new issues. Probably 75% of it will be old material and 25% will likely be new, however it is going to be all connected by a general theme. It is going to be a cool show, I promise you. It will be spectacular like all my shows have been.”
