Pink Floyd and Marvel comic Doctor Strange have been intertwined as far back as the band shrouded some of Marie Severin illustrations from Strange Tales #158 in the cover art of their second album, A Saucerful of Secrets. Scott Derrickson, who coordinated the up and coming extra large screen Doctor Strange adjustment featuring Benedict Cumberbatch, is advancing the association.

In a Reddit AMA, Derrickson (who is prone to tweeting out Floyd lyrics) said he’s using a Syd-era song in the film. What one? We’ll need to hold up to see. There’s additional, however, as Michael Giacchino’s score for the film unquestionably summons some Floydian spacerock (a(and baroque Morricone-isms as well). You can look at the extremely cool end credits topic “Master of the Mystic” underneath.
In the mean time, Roger Waters’ Us + Them Tour is coming up in 2017. Tickets for the four NYC-territory appears (two at Barclays Center, one each at Prudential Center and Nassau Coliseum) go at a bargain today at twelve.
